CEDAR RAPIDS, IA – July 2, 2012 – The Cedar Rapids Police Department wants to notify citizens of a street closure for the July 3 Fireworks display at the Ellis Boat Harbor.

Ellis Blvd NW will be closed between Edgewood Rd and Penn Ave NW at 6:00 pm for the July 3 Fireworks at the Boat Harbor. Parking will be allowed in Ellis Park. It will be on a first come, first serve basis. Entry into the park must be made from Zika Ave NW.

The public is advised to seek alternative routes if they are not attending the fireworks.
