CEDAR RAPIDS, IA – June 29, 2012 - “DOWNTOWN DRIVE-IN MOVIE” series is Saturday, June 30, 2012, 7:30 p.m. to Midnight. From 4 p.m. to Midnight, the 100 block of 6th Street NE between First Avenue and A Avenue NE will be closed to vehicular traffic for the Downtown Drive-In Movie event adjacent to Cedar Rapids Bank & Trust (500 1st Ave NE). All other adjacent streets will be open for traffic access to the event.
Freedom Festival “FIREFIGHTER COMBAT CHALLENGE and WATERBALL FIGHT” at Kirkwood Community College is Saturday, June 30 and Sunday, July 1, 2012, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Freedom Festival “COUNTRY CONCERT” at Kirkwood Community College is Saturday, June 30, 2012, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Freedom Festival “PATRIOTIC POPS CONCERT” at Kirkwood Community College is Sunday, July 1, 2012, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
There will be no street closures, but some possible traffic slowdowns and traffic congestion on Kirkwood Boulevard SW, 76th Avenue SW and C Street SW in the Kirkwood Community College area.
