CEDAR RAPIDS, IA – June 10, 2012 – The Cedar Rapids Police Department was sent to 2928 28 Ave SW, on Saturday, June 9, 2012, at about 8:11 pm to a shooting. When officers arrived, they found Brian Wilson/39 had been shot in the torso. He was taken by Area Ambulance to St. Luke’s Hospital.

Officers found that a disagreement between Wilson and a neighbor, Joseph Pham, 12-8-69, of 2934 29 Ave SW had ended in Pham shooting Wilson. There were other family members in the Wilson residence during the shooting. Pham went back to his residence.

At about 10:30 pm, Pham exited his residence to speak to police.

Pham was charged with three counts of Attempted Murder and one count of Intimidation with a Deadly Weapon and taken to Linn County Jail.

Wilson’s condition is unknown at this time.

There will be nothing further until Monday involving the case.
