The Amphitheater Levee Project will help to create a destination riverfront that will promote reinvestment around Cedar Rapids core. The project will provide flood protection for nearby neighborhoods; contribute towards a connected trail system for ecological health and resident health; and establish a more meaningful place to experience and view the Cedar River.
