There are two ways to pay your utility bill with a credit card: over the phone and online. A credit card processing fee of $3.50 for an online payment or $4.95 for a phone payment is charged by the bank for each transaction.
This fee is paid in addition to the utility bill. The fee goes directly to the bank; the utilities do not benefit from the assessment of this fee. The maximum payment amount is $350 for each credit card transaction. The credit card payment will be posted to the customers’ account by the end of the next business day.
