Thousands of Cedar Rapids citizens participated in planning the future of our city in 2008 and 2009. They provided their input for the River Corridor Redevelopment Plan, the Preferred Flood Management Strategy and the Neighborhood Planning Process.
The Cedar Rapids City Council approved the final Neighborhood Reinvestment Action Plan on May 13, 2009 to guide redevelopment in the flood-impacted neighborhoods along the Cedar River over the next 10 to 15 years.
