Public Hearings are conducted by the City Council during a Council meeting, usually as required by state law, whereby the City Council receives information and hears public comments regarding the particular topic, such as for instance, a proposed rezoning, disposition of city-owned property, etc. Comments are limited to 5 minutes per speaker, unless the Council or Mayor allows otherwise.
Bid lettings for larger Capital Improvement Projects are also shown on this schedule (if a public hearing preceded the bid letting).
