Notice: Beginning September 1, 2009, the Code Enforcement Division will only accept permit applications and issue permits between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.on weekdays. This applies to all commercial and residential building, electrical, mechanical and plumbing permits. Permit applications will not be accepted or issued after 4:00 p.m.As the Code Enforcement Division works to standardize and streamline its operation, this is one of the first areas identified for improvement. The change in time is an effort to ensure fiscal responsibility to control overtime claims and staffing irregularities.
