Abuse Investigations

Call us if you encounter animals inside the city limits that:

• Do not have food, water, or shelter.
  
• Are being kept in unsanitary conditions.
  
• Have visible sores or are scratching themselves profusely.
  
• Have hair loss or bald spots.
  
• Have a mean temperament.
  
• Have bitten a human within the last 14 days.
  
• Need a good home.
  
• Are not displaying a rabies tag on their collar.
  
• Are illegal to own in Cedar Rapids (snakes, alligators, crocodiles, lions, tigers, and bears).
