Aiport Commission

Overview
The Cedar Rapids Airport Commission has been established under Chapter 330 of the Iowa Code to supervise the operation of The Eastern Iowa Airport (TEIA). The Commission consists of five members appointed by the Mayor for a term of three years.

Meetings
Meetings are held the fourth Monday of each month at 7:30 a.m. at The Eastern Iowa Airport, unless announced otherwise.

Requirements and Expectations
Because Airport business matters vary greatly, valuable background experience varies also, from financial, to legal, farm management, construction, engineering and marketing. City residency is required for membership of this committee. Contact current Airport Commissioners for an estimated amount of hours spent on this Commission.
